This is a one-week course in which students learn to work up various emergencies as they present to a clinic after hours. Students continue to learn more nursing skills. This rotation continues to develop observation, monitoring and patient assessment skills. Prerequisites: completion of all required coursework, a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher and a grade point average of 2.0 or higher in all Veterinary Technology coursework.
