Description:

This is a two-week course in which students participate in the care and treatment of hospitalized patients. This treatment includes basic evaluation of patient history and current therapy, skills involved with patient comfort and care, fluid therapy, record keeping, venipuncture and catheter maintenance. Prerequisites: completion of all required coursework, a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher and a grade point average of 2.0 or higher in all Veterinary Technology coursework.
