This is a two-week course in which students learn to produce diagnostic-quality radiographs for routine and some special-study procedures with the safety of both the patients and the handler in mind. Students also become knowledgeable in radiology equipment care and usage. Ultrasonography and echocardiography are introduced. Prerequisites: completion of all required coursework, a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher and a grade point average of 2.0 or higher in all Veterinary Technology coursework.
