3 credits The course focuses on the actions of nation-states that have important consequences for the global environment. National decisions have consequences for the environment that extend beyond their borders, while international law and norms have an impact on national decision-making. Such issues as climate change, ozone depletion, the economy and the environment, energy production and consumption, and sustainable development, are examined in terms of developing, implementing and enforcing international environmental policy goals. Information about these and other internships may also be obtained from the Office of Academic Services and Retention.
