This course provides students with a basic background for reading Hispanic literature and focuses on the development of a method for reading critically. Students will identify and discuss themes, plots and structure and poetic tropes such as symbols, metaphors, and allegory. Lecture and discussion in Spanish. Prereq: SPA 210 and SPA 211 or consent of instructor.
