Two hours lecture, two hours lab. Topics include probability and probability distributions. Sampling methods, statistical process control, hyporthesis testing, regression and correlation analysis, and experiment design. Lab exercises include development and implementation of experiments, data collection, and design of experiments. Use of both a calculator and various statistical software packages on a computer will be required for problem solving and report generation. Prereq: MATH 215 or MATH 230.
