Description:

Two hours lecture, three hours lab. Introduction, classification, and application of robots and similar types of automated industrial equipment and corresponding educational robots. Fundamental principles and characteristics of representative robots are presented in the laboratory to demonstrate operational features. Both online (teach pendant) and off-line (computer) programming are demonstrated and used in the laboratory. Prereq: Consent of instructor.
