Two hours lecture, three hours lab. Principles of engineering modeling and documentation in a computer environment. Specific topics to be covered include visualization, geometric modeling of objects in a computer-aided design environment, and application of documentation standards and engineering conventional representations. Emphasis is placed on freehand sketching as a means of communication and on the accurate generation of threedimensional computer models and documentation files.
