Emphasis shifts from accounting theory (Principles I) to giving students experience in preparation of fi nancial statements. Journals, ledgers, worksheets, closings, and a corporation practice set are used. New topics include payrolls, stockholders’ equity, earnings per share, long-term debt, marketable securities, and statement of cash fl ows. Required for all business majors. Offered every semester. Prerequisite: BU3502.
