This course is an introduction to the digital technology and communication art of video production. Technology will include simple video cameras and non-linear editing techniques on Final Cut Pro editing software. Students plan and complete a set of shortformat video productions that can be used as part of their personal portfolio. The introductory skills learned in this class provide a foundation for use in more advanced production classes. Offered every semester. Three credits.
