3 cr. 3 hr. This is an introductory level study of the computer and application software techniques. This course introduces microcomputer concepts, common operating system functions, Internet, e-mail and an integrated package of application software, including word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation development. The student learns how to construct and edit a document, spreadsheet, database and presentation using the proper tools. Q Co-requisite: Passing the Math placement exam or Math 0200.
