Currently offered: Spring 2008: Day/Evening (2), Online (2), Accelerated (1) Summer 2008: Online (1) Fall 2008: Day/Evening (2), Online (2), Accelerated (2) Description: This course will introduce the student to computer forensics, the art and science of using technology to obtain evidence for use in criminal and civil court. Students will obtain an introduction to basic computer and networking concepts, the Internet, computer crime statutes, management of evidence, the industry best-practices for examining computers that might contain crime-related information. The topics of the course are reinforced with hands-on exercises.
