This course is designed to help first-year students make a successful transition to higher education. The course encourages students to claim their education through a focus on the process of learning how to learn and cultivating the habits of mind for lifelong acievement and success. By linking critical and creative thinking with writing and discussion, students are asked to reflect on their past, present, and futures in an effort to develop their own perspectives on learning and success.
