Students analyze and discuss acousmatic computer music in a wide variety of genres such as ambient, minimal, glitch, sound object, soundscape, sound collage, algorithmic, etc. Students compose a series of portfolio pieces that are critiqued in class and then featured in a public concert at the end of the semester.
