Adderley Required of:MUED majors not enrolled in ME-P327 Electable by:MTHE majors and MUED majors Offered:Spring, Fall Description This course will present the educational philosophies, objectives, teaching methods, and musical materials of the Orff and Kodaly methods of music education. The course will focus on techniques for developing music reading skills through a repertoire of songs and singing games from which these musical concepts can be taught. Directed listening, improvisation, movement, Orff instruments, and melodic hand signs will also be important topics.
