A marching band during the first half to two-thirds of the Fall Semester and a symphonic band during the remainder of the fall and all of the Spring Semester. The Marching Band performs both corps and traditional style half-time shows at all home and some away football games. The Symphonic Band performs a diverse and challenging repertoire in two concerts each year. Membership in the fully instrumented organization(s) is open to all students of the College. Students desiring partial Intellectual Perspectives (IP) credit in Visual & Performing Arts should register for MUS 401V. Prerequisite: audition and permission of the instructor. Credit: 1 semester hour.
