Designed to teach children, teens and adults to find in worship a means of expressing their love for God and their joy at being included in the family of faith. Topics include the history of church music, integrating the child into worship, organization of choristers, introduction of solfege & Kodaly, primary and junior choirs, and changing voices. Groups of students will form teams for at least two presentations during class time. Prerequisite: sophomore standing in music, or permission of instructor. Credit: 4 semester hours.
