A continuation of MUS 123 with emphasis on late Romantic, Impressionist, and 20th century practices. Also included is a brief study of performance practices of the music of Far Eastern cultures. Prerequisite: MUS 123 with a minimum grade of C-, or permission of instructor. Co-requisite: must also register for MUS 124L. Credit: 4 semester hours. Note: A letter grade of at least C- must be attained in MUS 124 in order to count for graduation as a music major.
