This class builds on the fundamentals of broadcast news from previous courses including practical, ethical and legal considerations for news gathering, writing, producing, reporting and anchoring on Titan Radio and www.titanradio.net. The course engages study and exploration by students in all aspects of the newsroom operations including the convergence of the broadcast side of the newsroom to the online product. Students polish techniques for professional on-air and online standards in reporting and producing local news for the local audience. Prerequisites: BC 102, BC 111 and BC 251.
