Prerequisite: Criminal justice major or minor. This is an introduction to the specialized vocabulary and basic grammatical structures needed by people working in the field of law enforcement. The course provides students with the opportunity to use their linguistic foundation to develop conversational facility in Spanish. Their conversational skills are developed through creating dialogues and presenting original skits centering on probable law enforcement situations. Offered once a year. 3 cr.
