Every semester An introduction to the basic disciplines of hatha yoga, focusing on body awareness, appropriate body warmups, beginning yoga postures and breathing ( pranayama), and relaxation skills. Upon successful completion, students understand and are able to demonstrate the basic components of yoga practice ( sadhana), including safe, stable body alignment and at least 21 classical yoga postures.
