This course is a continuation of CHE 212: Study of organic reactions with emphasis upon the relation between structure and reactivity. Introduction of IR and NMR theory in lecture and application in laboratory. Laboratory work includes the study of advanced preparations and techniques. Three lecture hours and one threehour laboratory period per week. Prerequisite: CHE212.
