Prerequisite: BUS 100Students will be introduced to the complexities of doing business in the global marketplace. The role of the World Trade Organization (WTO), regional trade agreements, protectionism, and cultural and language differences are a few of the topics to be studied. In addition, the evolution of modern international trade theory, as well as the effect of floating exchange rates on multi-national corporations and trading nations, and balance of payments will be examined.
