hours. Introduction to the basics of AC and DC electronics. Discussion and laboratory experiences covering resistance, series and parallel circuits, magnetism Ohm’s Law, Kirchhoff’sLaws, and basic digital circuits. Emphasis will include laboratory exercises and computer modeling and emulation of circuits. Prerequisite: Information technology major or permission of the instructor. Not open to electronic and computer technology majors.
