hours. Principles and theories of food sanitation. Emphasis will be given to understanding sources of food poisoning, food handling, pest control in the food industry and food service establishments. Local, State and Federal regulations and implementation will be examined. Lectures, demonstrations, discussion and visitations will enable familiarization with food sanitation and food service inspections.
