hours. An introductory business statistics course dealing both with populations and processes. Topics covered include: graphical concepts, measures of central tendency and dispersion, basic probability concepts, random variables (both discrete and continuous), central limit theorem, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals on means and proportions, and control charts for proportions, means, and variation. Prerequisites: 170; and Mathematics 111, 115, or a calculus course.
