hours. Students will learn design fundamentals as they relate to the visual elements of theater. This course requires participation in one current theatrical production. Research and practical design projects will stimulate students’ visual imagination. The basics of play analysis for design as well as scenic and costume history will be included. Prerequisites: 176 and 191, or consent of instructor.
