hours. This course is designed primarily to meet the General Education Capstone Course requirement. This course will do that by examining the “employment relationship.” Ina society of employees the employment relationship emerges as among the most significant in a person’s life. Topics will include basic labor law, forms of the employment relationship, employment discrimination, regulation of the employment relationship, promotions, workplace politics, and workplace health and safety issues. Prerequisite: at least 78 credit hours, seven of nine required Liberal Studies courses, and sufficient progress in the major to validate work as a capstone experience.
