This course provides an overview of the purposes and organization of the theatre and allied areas and the functions of all of the jobs related to a theatrical presentation. Students will examine artistic, performer, director, designer, technicians, and ‘’front-of-house’’ operations and ttheatre as a profession, and will learn about professional organizations and securing employment.
