An in-depth, rigorous, calculus-based treatment of modern physics, including relativity, particle-wave duality, electromagnetic radiation, Schrodinger’s wave equation, atomic theory and nuclear physics. A twohour lab period supplements the three-hour weekly lecture. The lab component provides open-ended, inquiry-based investigations along with greater responsibility for interpreting, utilizing and communicating results in the classroom.
