Students will use a hands – on approach in this course to develop skills and proper execution in simultaneous and consecutive styles of interpreting. Students will learn to think analytically and to apply this skill to “real life” situations increasing speed accuracy and complexity ofthe interpreting process. Topics will include hospitality, social welfare, housing, education, paralegal, and medical scenarios. Videotaping will be used to evaluate skill and provide feedback.
