This course will provide students with a survey of fundamental computing concepts and applications, and will offer a useful foundation upon which students can develop skills necessary to become effective users of information systems. The primary focus of this course will be on productivity software applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, database, the Internet and presentation software. This course fulfi lls three hours of the First Year Experience. (Competency may be demonstrated.)
