This course is designed to emphasize the history and development of disease classifi cations. The student will spend time learning the procedures of various systems. Application of the current classifi cation system will be emphasized. Prepared software will be used to enhance the understanding of the current classifi cation system. Financial implications of the classifi cation system will be discussed. Four hour lecture, two hours laboratory per week. Fall Semester. Majors Only.
