A study of classic texts in women’s literature, including such works as A Room of One’s Own, “Tell Me A Riddle,” Jane Eyre, OrlandoThe Awakening and Adrienne Rich’s work. Students will also study the works of such contemporary female writers as Caryl Churchill, Marilynne Robinson, Margaret Atwood, Gloria Naylor, Toni Morrison, Rachel Ingalls and Maxine Hong Kingston.
