This is a methods course in which prospective K-6 teachers translate content specifi c skills to the developmental levels, intellectual, emotional and social needs and learning styles of students. Activities focus on the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and dispositions through practice in selecting appropriate content, goals, and strategies for K-6 students and designing effective teaching and evaluation procedures.
