The elements and principles of three-dimensional design are explored in this Foundations course. Students learn the vocabulary of three-dimensional design, and apply scholarly responses to visual images. Students explore, through visual problem-solving, issues of space, inherent properties of materials, and content in the threedimensional realm. Students work with a variety of three-dimensional media in this studio course. Reading and writing assignments accompany studio coursework. PR: ART 1140.
