A survey of the main methods for determining the structures of compounds from physical measurements. Interpretation of data from infrared and mass spectrometry as well as nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry, including the use of two dimensional NMR techniques. Discussion of other physical methods such as x-ray diffraction and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy.
