4 class hours, 2 laboratory hours; 4 credits Provides an in-depth knowledge of the skills of exposition and advanced prose style through the writing and criticism of expository essays. The student will work with students in need of help in the College’s English Learning Center for two hours per week in addition to the four hours of classroom work. Prerequisites: ENG 151, letter of recommendation from the student’s ENG 151 instructor, and permission of the instructor.
