4 hours; 4 credits Issues of teaching and learning science are examined including curriculum, resources and materials, management, standards, assessment, and the educational application of technology. Scientific concepts, structures, and language are explored in relation to developing strategies for instruction and providing for students’ differing special needs. A fieldwork component of thirty-five (35) hours is included. Prerequisites: EDS 201, EDS 202, and a GPA of 2.75 or above Corequisite: EDS 307
