3 hours; 3 credits Theories of organization and management are developed, examined, and applied to business and nonprofit institutions. Evaluation of organizational structure and practice in light of these theories. Studies of leadership, small group behavior, creativity, communication, and the process of social change in the large business organization. Prerequisites: ENG 111, and MTH 025 or MTH 030, or permission of the Mathematics Department or an appropriate score on the CUNY Math Assessment Test.
