Art since 1945 is the study of movements in Art in Europe and the United States from the end of the Second World War until the present. It will involve visits to local collections to see works and institutional constructions of the period. Through a study of Modernism and Contemporary Art students will learn how to approach the art of the present from a multiplicity of viewpoints and in terms of a broader visual culture.
