3 Credits Offered Fall and Spring A study of social and psychological factors which police must consider as they strive to enforce the law while maintaining a healthy relationship with the community. Critical issues discussed include the role and image of the police, discretion, race, prejudice, ethics, higher education, and media. Prerequisite: CRJ 105 or permission of the instructor.
