Introduction to photography. Course covers the aesthetic and technical aspects of black and white photography including 35mm camera technique, film processing and development of photographs in the darkroom. Weekly assignments, class critique of student work, and slide lectures on photography are given. Students must have an adjustable 35mm camera capable of manual controls, and buy film, paper and some materials. Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Prerequisite for fine arts majors only: FA 10.
