LEC 3 hrs., LAB 1 hr., Course fee $40 This course is designed to provide familiarity with contemporary software for word processing, electronic spreadsheets, and database applications in a personal computer environment. An introduction to web browser software, electronic slide production, and information management is also included. Students are required to complete a series of laboratory assignments that illustrate skills in the above software applications including a cross-application project. Students must allocate time to complete assignments using current versions of the software (available on campus). Computer Information Systems majors must have advisor approval to take this course.
