3 HOURS, 3 CREDITS Th is course will enable the student to speak, comprehend, read and write Spanish on a basic level. Students who take SPA 101 cannot fulfi ll the six-credit language requirement by taking SPA 111 Students who take SPA 111 must also take SPA 112 or an intermediate level course to satisfy the BA/BS degree requirements. Ten laboratory hours are required during the semester. Prerequisite: SPA 101 or placement examination.
