3 HOURS, 3 CREDITS A senior seminar that will explore Hispanic issues through an indepth study of areas including crime, race and ethnic disparities, gender, language and culture, policing, courts and Latina/o litigants, urban politics, immigration laws and policies; legal representation, administrative policy and interest groups, and criminal justice themes in literature; analysis and evaluation of aspects most relevant to Latina/o communities. Prerequisites: ENG 102 or ENG 201, and senior standing, or permission of the section instructor.
