3 HOURS, 3 CREDITS An examination of the uses of computers as aids to public administration, and a survey of the basic knowledge, which a manager should possess to work eff ectively with computers. Topics of examination include trends in computer technology as they aff ect management, organizational impacts, employee development, computers and management styles and techniques, productivity improvement with computers, selection and use of soft ware packages, selection and use of hardware systems, and management applications such as simulation and database management.
