3 HOURS, 3 CREDITS Th is course will explore the nature of alcoholism from the perspectives of clinical and social psychology. Topics will include patterns of alcohol use and abuse, the psychodynamics of alcoholism and basic principles of treatment and rehabilitation. Th e course will also consider related problems faced by family and friends of the drinking person. Prerequisites: ENG 101 and PSY 101
