3 HOURS, 3 CREDITS A detailed examination of theories of feminine experience, personality and behavior, the development of gender identity and of sex-typed characteristics and abilities, with emphasis on processes and on the critical evaluation of research. Th e interrelations among anatomy, physiology and psychology will be examined, and the psychology of women will be compared to and placed within the larger framework of contemporary psychological thinking. Implications for therapy will also be covered. Prerequisites: ENG 101, and PSY 101 or SOC 101
