Topics studied include how caregivers help the child to develop major personality dimensions; adjusting to the demands of parenting; establishing healthy patterns; discipline; encouraging selfsuffi ciency; instilling moral values; play and education; single parenting; the eff ects of separation, divorce, death, and child abuse; and the management of aggression in children.
